Suburban Life by Cynthia Hakos

This is a really funny one! I told you Nello Pellegrini (my father) is the resident handyman for the restaurant. Well, he brought our industrial Vulcan stove home to refurbish. He hung it by a pulley in his backyard tree. Artist, customer, & neighbor Cynthia Hakos, Dr. Hakos's wife, was first shocked to see a stove hanging in a tree, then was inspired to paint the scene. It was displayed in the Carnegie here in Pittsburgh entitled Suburban Life. More like an episode of the twilight zone if you ask me. That's neat; our restaurant's maintenance inspires artists.
